Branson vows to find out cause of spacecraft crash
MOJAVE, Calif. - Billionaire Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson say he's determined to find out what went wrong during a test flight of his prototype space tourism rocket, killing one pilot and injuring another.
Branson told a press conference Saturday in Mojave, California, that safety has always been the top priority of the program.
Branson, who saluted the bravery of test pilots, did not discuss any details of Friday's accident and deferred to the investigation just getting underway by experts from the National Transportation Safety Board.
