BR Police: Teen wounded in North Ardenwood Drive shooting, suspect at large
BATON ROUGE - First responders are investigating a shooting that left a teenager wounded on Thursday (Feb. 4) afternoon.
The gunfire was reported shortly before 4 p.m. on N Ardenwood Drive near Renoir Avenue. At the time, representatives with the Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) confirmed that authorities were investigating a shooting "possibly involving a teenage victim."
The following morning, a BRPD representative said that a male teenager "was shot by an unknown suspect who fled the scene on foot."
Police say the teenager is expected to survive his injuries.
At this time the suspect's motive is unknown and the incident remains under investigation.
