Boy kills boy
DETROIT- An eleven-year-old boy faces a manslaughter charge for shooting and killing a 3 year-old on the east side of Detroit.
Prosecutors call it a death by weapon aimed with intent but without malice using a firearm. The eleven-year-old faces a hearing in Juvenile Hall.
Investigators say it happened when the older boy took a gun from the closet of his father's home and threw it out of a window into the backyard. Later, he retrieved the gun and went and sat in a car. The younger boy got into the car and was shot once in the face.
Police say they are trying to determine if the boys were related.
