Boats capsize with 2 dead, five missing
DAUPHIN ISLAND, AL - Rescuers are in the waters of Mobile Bay in Alabama. At least 10 vessels capsized after severe storms yesterday. Two bodies have been recovered and the Coast Guard believes 5 more people are missing. The weather hit as more than 100 sailboats were in Mobile Bay for the annual Dauphin Island Sailing Regatta. Families and friends of the missing have gathered along the banks of Mobile Bay hoping for any word of their loved ones. The Coast Guard says at least 40 people were rescued from the water as a squall line ripped through the area. Wind gusts were recorded above 70 miles per hour. Not all the missing are believed to have been sailors in the race.
