TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, NEW MEXICO- In hopes of attracting high-rollers into space, Virgin Galactic expanded its lodging and entertainment options for people who'll pay big bucks to blast off from its spaceport.

Its partnering with a lodge in Truth or Consequences that is owned by media mogul Ted Turner. Its already selected Hotel Encantado de Las Cruces as the preferred hotel for customers.

The new partnership with the Sierra Grande Lodge and Spa will offer Virgin Galactic customers eco-safaris on Turner's two ranches in southern New Mexico.

Spaceport America, where Virgin will launch into space, is in a remote area and lodging has been an issue.

Customers will pay $250,000 a person to take flights from the spaceport.
