Baton Rouge man arrested for attempted murder in Baldwin
BATON ROUGE - The Baldwin Police Department arrested a Baton Rouge man for two counts of attempted second-degree murder.
Kelvin Markeith Porter Jr., of Baton Rouge, is wanted for the aforementioned charges as well as illegal discharging of a firearm after a shooting that occurred Tuesday, Feb. 13.

After learning of a warrant for his arrest, Porter turned himself in to Baldwin Police Department. Porter was transported to St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
