A brush with Olympians
NEW YORK- Potential Olympic gold medalist may wait on you the next time you go to Dick's Sporting Goods to shop.
The U.S. Olympic Committee now has a sponsorship deal with the company and part of it means jobs at Dick's stores for athletes in training. The agreement runs through next year's Olympics in Rio De Janeiro.
The USOC has been trying to reinvent a program that put as many as 200 athletes to work at Home Depot until the company ended its sponsorship in 2009.
Dick's will also offer equipment to athletes and make donations to the U.S. Olympic Training Center
