4 remain hospitalized after Indiana bowling team bus crash
HENRYVILLE, IN - Four people remain hospitalized after they were injured when a bus carrying members of the Indiana Tech bowling team overturned on an interstate in southern Indiana.
University of Louisville Hospital spokesman David McArthur said three patients were in satisfactory to fair condition at the hospital on Friday, a day after 21 were injured while traveling to a tournament in Tennessee. Scott Memorial Hospital spokesman Mike Everett says one patient there was expected to be discharged Friday.
The accident occurred on Interstate 65 just north of Henryville, about 20 miles north of Louisville, Kentucky. The charter bus contained 16 bowling team members, as well as coaches and spouses and the bus driver.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
