ST. FRANCISVILLE - Sheriff's deputies in West Feliciana Parish arrested four men Friday believed to be behind a pair of ATV thefts in the St. Francisville area.

Deputies said neighbors tipped them off to a vehicle with suspicious people in it, and when they attempted to stop the vehicle, it fled resulting in a chase. The vehicle was later located in the Lower Cheerful Valley area with a 4-wheeler loaded into the back, but no suspects were inside.

Deputies exploring the property where the vehicle was located then found another four-wheeler that was reported stolen. They also said they recovered a stole crossbow and pair of speakers.

They continued to search for the suspects in a wooded area surrounding the property and eventually called the Angola Chase Team for assistance. The following suspects ended up turning themselves in to deputies:

-Khristofer Logan Cockerham, 18, was booked on charges of felony theft (two counts), aggravated flight from an officer and various traffic violations
-Dedric Cobb, 21, was booked on charges of felony theft (two counts) and simple flight from an officer
-Dawsom Granier, 19, was booked on charges of felony theft (two counts) and simple flight from an officer
-Ryane Jackson, 17, was booked on charges of misdemeanor theft and simple flight from an officer

All four of the teens have bond hearings scheduled for next week.
