3 people transported following shooting on N. 47th
BATON ROUGE - 3 people have been transported following a shooting on 4800 block of Gus Young Avenue near N 48th Street in Baton Rouge Thursday night.
According to police, two male suspects walked up to a group and started shooting. The suspects later fled the scene on foot. The victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

This shooting occurred about half a mile from the Triple S Food Mart where police shot and killed Alton Sterling earlier this week. Demonstrations have been occurring there over the past 72 hours, but Sterling's aunt is telling them to go home.

The shootings is under investigation. The motive is unknown at this time.
