2 more Tigers taken, La'el Collins goes unselected on final day of 2015 NFL Draft
BATON ROUGE - Four LSU Tigers ended up being selected in the NFL Draft, but the one with the best pro potential ended up undrafted as no team wanted to take a chance on La'el Collins.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Kwon Alexander in the 4th round (124th overall) and the Houston Texans took Kenny Hilliard in the 7th round (235) on day three of the draft, but teams stayed away from Collins, who was questioned in the shooting death of his pregnant ex-girlfriend Brittany Mills.
Collins requested that he enter next year's draft, but ESPN reports that is not possible, and the 2014 2nd team All-American left tackle will now have to wait to see if someone picks him up in free agency.
