BATON ROUGE - Police spent the last 24 hours reviewing evidence, which includes surveillance video from a convenience store in north Baton Rouge, hoping to find a key that will unlock the mystery surrounding a murdered mother and the four days her daughter was missing.

Investigators said late Wednesday they also detained two people for questioning in connection with the shooting and disappearance.

Taylor Latham, 24, was shot and killed Saturday. Her body was found Monday night on Louisiana Avenue, just outside downtown. Soon after her body was discovered, police learned her daughter, A'Kyleana, was missing.

The two-year-old was found Tuesday afternoon across the street from a gas station on Scenic Highway. Police swarmed the convenience store shortly after the child was found safe and hauled off security video, a store worker told WBRZ News 2 Wednesday.

Investigators released limited information Wednesday, but confirmed they were reviewing all evidence and had questioned several people. No suspects had been developed, however, and there had been no arrests as of this post.

The child was reunited with her father, who lives in Texas, after she was rescued.
