Victim's brother not shocked after cold case arrest
BATON ROUGE - The brother of a man killed in a 2004 drive-by shooting said he wasn't shocked when Baton Rouge Police announced who the person they'd arrested was today.
Police accused Brian Antonio Spears with first degree murder in death of Louis Davis nine years ago.
The victim's brother, Joseph Davis, told News 2 today he warned his brother about the crowd he was hanging out with.
"Closures been from day one pretty much. With all the signs and people coming to you and not taking heed and when it actually unfolds, your like, It's too late," he said.
Spears was booked into the parish jail this afternoon. He currently has no bond.
