Ultrasound device tightens skin
BATON ROUGE - A new procedure uses ultrasound technology to tighten and lift aging skin.
The procedure is called ultherapy, and local dermatologist Dr. Z said the treatment does not agitate surface layers of the skin.
According to Dr. Z, ultherapy works by stimulating deeper layers of tissue. The device used for ultherapy has been tested and FDA approved for lifting skin on the chin, neck and brow.
