Tipsy Taxi offered in West Feliciana Parish
ST.FRANCISVILLE- The West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's office is offering a lift to residents who have had too much to drink during the holiday season.
The sheriff's office will be providing Tipsy Taxi service for parish residents who have been drinking and need a ride home.
The program is in its tenth year, and the sheriff says it has cut down on the number of drunk driver arrests.
"If you get caught in a situation and don't have a designated driver you can call our dispatch and we will send a deputy out to pick up and take you home," said Sheriff Austin Daniel.
The service starts this weekend and runs through the first weekend in January.
