Tigers win big over ranked Missouri
The LSU Tiger basketball team picked up their second SEC win of the season with a 73-70 win over 17th ranked Missouri on Wednesday night in the Maravich Center.
LSU sprinted out to a commanding first half lead behind solid shooting from the floor and then held off a Missouri Tiger second half onslaught for their second home conference win in as many tries.
Tiger point guard Anthony Hickey led the team with 20 points, while Johnny O'Bryant III had 14 points and 11 rebounds. Andre Stringer helped the Tigers perimeter game with 18 points and LSU shot 56% from the floor while holding Missouri to just 38% for the game.
LSU will play on the road at Mississippi St. this Saturday.
