"The Rosenwald Schools"
BATON ROUGE- The River Road African-American Museum will host a preview of the documentary film, "The Rosenwald Schools." The documentary follows the little known story of Booker T. Washington and Julius Rosenwald.
The great-granddaughter of Booker T. Washington and the great-grandson of Julius Rosenwald will be in Baton Rouge for the pre-screening.
Dr. Thomas Durant will lead a discussion at the event to talk about the lasting social impact of the Rosenwald schools and their relevance in enhancing schools and communities today.
