St. Patrick's Day Parade
BATON ROUGE - Finally, St. Patrick's Day fell on the same day as the parade.
Thousands celebrated in Baton Rouge as today marked 27 years of the annual tradition.
WBRZ's own Pat Shingleton brought in the fun as the streets lined up with party goers.
"You probably got crawfish boils, family reunions, cochon du laits, all up and down Hundred Oaks, S. Eugene, Terrace and Perkins road," Shingleton said.
Thousands of people lining the parade route said they enjoy it because it's a family affair.
"Everybody getting along, look at that.. Everybody getting along... yeah," Troy London said.
