Social media campaign to promote healthy eating
BATON ROUGE - Wednesday is National Eating Healthy Day. The American Heart Association and Our Lady of the Lake are teaming up to promote a social media campaign to promote eating healthy.
Kristen Gradney, a dietician at OLOL stopped by 2une In this morning with all the details. She says if you can take pictures of your food, you can join the movement.
"The goal of the campaign is to bring awareness to the fact that 80% of the factors that cause heart disease and stroke are preventable just through making good choices and eating healthy," Gradney explains.
