Representative Garret Graves
BATON ROUGE - It's been a busy 100 days for congress. This morning one of Louisiana's newest congressman, Garret Graves, stopped by 2une In to tell News 2's John Pastorek about what he's witnessed so far.
"A lot of people look at Congress and say, ‘it's so far away and we're so disconnected from there,'" said Representative Graves. "But, the reality is that this is a representative job, so it's very important that we engage and represent people.
Graves is asking people to reach out to him either through email or over the phone. He's asking people to engage with him so can get a good idea of what the public want.
Rep. Graves' office is located at 2351 Energy Drive, suite 1200. It's open every weekday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. He is also holding personal open office hours Tuesday from 1:30- 3:30 p.m. and on Thursday from 2:30- 4:30 p.m.
