BATON ROUGE- A group of local moms is trying to keep your money around Baton Rouge. The Red Stick Mom Bloggers have released a new Shop Local Guide just in time for the holiday season.
Red Stick Moms Blog is a group of mothers in the Baton Rouge area that provide a unique perspective on events and other things happening around the capital city.
The group's new catalogue features products from about 20 artisans and businesses around Greater Baton Rouge. All of the products included in the guide have been tried and approved by the bloggers.
Mom bloggers, Ericka Poole and Jada Bruce, say the the guide is meant to keep local dollars in Baton Rouge. It encourages shoppers to use nearby businesses, rather than doing their holiday shopping out-of-town.
