Police: 2 killed in quadruple shooting
BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge police say two people were shot to death when they responded to a call about shots fired. Two others were injured.
It happened on Brice Street between Government and North Boulevard at 7:40 p.m. Saturday night.
Police said Brandon Wallace, 31, and Terrell Heard, 28, died on the scene from shots fired from a passing vehicle. A witness said that Heard was eating lunch on the front steps of a house when he was gunned down.
"During the first 20 minutes, I was checking his pulse. He was not dead at all."
The two other victims, 22-year-old and 16-year-old males, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
WBRZ crews were there when one person was taken into custody. No word yet on who the victims are or a motive.
