Pageantry in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE - The fifty-one women who will participate in the upcoming Miss USA contest were introduced in an opening ceremony Thursday night.
With the State Capitol in the background, the women and their shining dresses took to the stage set up in the plaza area of the Louisiana Museum.
The group was introduced by Miss USA Erin Brady 2013 and Louisiana Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne.
The contestants will be touring the city and south Louisiana for the next few days, leading up to the broadcast pageant in a little more than a week.
