Owner gets stolen Corvettes returned
WALKER - Deputies accused two Livingston Parish men recently of stealing a pair of classic cars and wrecking one of them.
Sheriff's deputies arrested Royal Rhodus, 22, and Beaux Melancon, 23, on May 7 and accused them of stealing a pair of classic Corvettes from a Walker showroom.
Deputies said on May 5 they were called out to investigate a wrecked 1967 Chevy Corvette found unoccupied on Black Mud Road. Investigators contacted the registered owner, who told them that car and a 1985 Corvette were taken from his showroom recently.
