Outdoors Report: Louisiana Sportsman Show
GONZALES - The Louisiana Sportsman Show is the largest and longest-running outdoors show in Louisiana.
It kicked off Thursday and runs through Sunday at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales. There is something for everyone at the event, regardless of your age; from kids' rides and food to watching those flying splash dogs.
The show continues to grow and adds more events and products each year. You can find every boat of every flavor there, and if you are in the market, prices are as low at the show as they will be the entire year.
"Last year was a huge show," Sportsman Show owner Tony Taylor explains. "We've got 500 vendors, two ATV test tracts, acres of lawn equipment, ever vender (of) every boat, rods, reels (and a) big buck contest."
The show ends Sunday at 5 p.m.
