One wanted, five accused in gang rape of teenage girl
ROSELAND- People in this small, central Tangipahoa Parish town are dealing with a heinous crime; six young men accused of gang raping a 13-year-old girl.
Two have been arrested, three juveniles face processing through the parish's juvenile detention program, and a sixth is at large after the crime days ago police released Tuesday. Kevin Griffin and Trayvon Robertson face adult charges.
Tevin Smith is wanted police said.
Investigators believe the group coerced the teenage girl into an abandoned trailer, known around town as "The Trapper" and forced her to perform sexual acts. The trailer is behind a church on Garrick Road where one of the grandfather of one of the suspects is a pastor.
