Neighbors call murder-suicide gunman 'ticking time bomb'
BATON ROUGE- A man and his stepdaughter are dead after an argument over a computer password.
It happened on Cedarcrest Ave just after 8:30 Monday night. Police say David Robinson, 57, shot and killed his stepdaughter, 26-year-old Reagan Rowe, before turning the gun on himself.
Police say Robinson was arguing with his wife about divorce and thought Rowe had changed the password to the family computer.
Neighbors claim Robinson seemed imbalanced and say he talked about killing his stepdaughter.
"Well he was always talking about killing her and that's what happened, he killed her, we never thought he'd kill her, because he always talked about I'm gonna kill her, but we never thought it'd happen so soon," said Alton Brown, who lives nearby.
Robinson was known through the neighborhood as someone who always carried a gun.
"I know he was a walking time bomb, but we never thought he'd do something like that," said Brown.
Police were called to the home by Robinson about 40 minutes prior to the shooting, when he claimed his step-daughter would be driving intoxicated, but Police say she was not driving and responded to another call.
