Navy realeases shocking bath salts PSA
BATON ROUGE - The Navy plans to battle bath salts with a new, shocking public service announcement.
The video shows the an officer having vivid hallucinations after taking bath salts, becoming violent and ending up in an emergency room.
Arlene Magee is the Clinical Director at St. Chirstopher's Addiction Wellness Center. She says the shock value of the video could go far with those who watch it.
"I think to show the intensity of that is important to convey the seriousness of bath salts," Magee said.
Magee told News 2 the video accurately depicts some of the behaviors of people while they're on bath salts and hopes it deters anyone who watches it.
