Movie Tavern opening its Baton Rouge location
BATON ROUGE- Movie Tavern gives a whole new meaning to “dinner and a movie.” The theater opens a new Baton Rouge location on Tuesday.
Movie Tavern Citiplace will offer customers a full-service movie experience. The company specializes in creating the perfect in-theater dining experience, including servers delivering cocktails, meals and desserts throughout the movie.
The company now has 20 locations in nine different states. The Citiplace location will be the second Movie Tavern in Louisiana.
The theaters features comfortable recliners with call-button service in every theater. They also have casual menus with a wide range of appetizers, entrees and popular food options.
Movie Tavern Citiplace will offer a discounted ticket price to college students who present their student ID. According to the Movie Tavern website, any child under the age of 12 will be eligible for a child ticket, and senior pricing will be available for patrons over the age of 55.
Soon the theater will implement its weekly “Breakfast and a Flick” program where families can enjoy a movie and breakfast at 9 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Movie Tavern caters to a larger audience. Moviegoers 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
