She then checked her self into the hospital after delivering the baby in the bathroom. According to investigators, Thomas claims that she did not know she was pregnant.
The baby girl was found unresponsive on Friday, however after she was taken to the Pointe Coupee General Hospital, doctors said that she was in stable but critical condition. As of Tuesday, the baby is being treated at Woman's Hospital.
Investigators say that the amount of Thomas' bond will be known within 72 hours.
