BATON ROUGE - Drivers faced gridlock along I-12 in East Baton Rouge Parish today after an 18-wheeler lost its load of pipes in a construction zone near the Amite River bridge.
Traffic was backed up for hours while crews cleared the wreck. Six people were injured, but none killed.
