Louisiana Band of Choctaws hosts Louisiana Heritage Cook off
SPRINGFIELD - The Louisiana Band of Choctaw Indians is hosting the Louisiana Heritage Cook Off on Saturday. Chief Shaun Murphy visited 2une In Friday to talk about the event.
The Louisiana Heritage Cook Off will feature tepees and crafts, live bands, entertainment for kids and more.
Proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warriors.Gates open this Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at AmVets Post 68 in Springfield. Admission is just $10.00, but kids under seven and military in uniform get in free.
