Les sets the record straight
BATON ROUGE- Les Miles will not be going to Michigan.
Miles told sports reporters after practice Monday, he was not interested in the head coaching job at his alma mater. In fact, he said, he had not even been contacted about the job.
Miles said reporters could report what he told them, but asked that his voice and likeness not be recorded, WBRZ Sports Director Michael Cauble said.
Brady Hoke was fired at the end of the regular season. Miles' name was tossed around as a possible replacement, the third time his name has been mentioned as being a head coach candidate at Michigan.
Miles makes $4.3 million a year plus incentives.
The Tigers face Notre Dame in Nashville's Music City Bowl in 15 days.
