Jones Creek Christmas Parade returns after year off
BATON ROUGE - A holiday tradition returns to Baton Rouge this weekend with the rolling of the Jones Creek Christmas Parade.
The parade has been a mainstay in the Capital City since it was founded 15 years ago, but it was canceled in 2013 because of bad weather. They're excited to have the opportunity to bring Christmas cheer to people in the area once again.
"It's geared for all the families in the area," Chris Rosendahl explains. "We are the 2nd-largest Christmas parade in Baton Rouge with between fifty and sixty entries this year."
The Jones Creek Christmas Parade rolls Sunday, December 14th at 2 p.m. It will be followed by the annual Christmas Fest at Woodlawn Baptist Church.
