John Schneider set to take down Broadmoor Theater sign
BATON ROUGE- The Broadmoor Theater sign is set to come down on Wednesday. The theater is being demolished to make room for additional parking for a nearby shopping center.
Former “Dukes of Hazzard” star, John Schneider, is taking the sign to John Schneider Studios in Livingston Parish where it will be on display.
Schneider has spent the past few weeks transporting some of the theater's memorabilia to his studio. So far he's taken the old-time popcorn machine, light fixtures and some of the theater's seats.
The Broadmoor Theater first opened its doors back in 1965.
