Jackson scores 21, LSU women beat No. 10 Tennessee 70-59

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Chloe Jackson scored 21 points and LSU took control in the third quarter to beat No. 10 Tennessee 70-59 Sunday.
  
The Lady Tigers (13-6, 5-3 Southeastern Conference) trailed at halftime, but used a 9-0 run for a 41-36 lead.
  
In the fourth quarter, Jackson hit three jump shots during an 8-0 burst that made it 53-43 with 6:55 left.
  
Jackson also had nine rebounds and four assists. Raigyne Louis added 18 points and nine rebounds for LSU and Ayana Mitchell had 16 rebounds.
  
LSU outrebounded Tennessee, the No. 4 rebounding team in the nation, by 44-32 and held Tennessee almost 23 points below its scoring average.
  
Mercedes Russell led Tennessee (17-4, 5-3) with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Mem Jackson added 13 points while Evina Westbrook had 10 points and seven assists.
  
Tennessee's leading scorer, Jaime Nared, was hampered by foul trouble and had nine points in 22 minutes. It was the fourth loss in the last six games for Tennessee.
  
Cold shooting hampered LSU in the first half as the Lady Tigers made just 11 of 33 shots but hung tough on the boards, matching the visitors with 18 rebounds.
