Hill suspended indefinitely from LSU football team
BATON ROUGE - LSU head football coach Les Miles suspended running back Jeremy Hill indefinitely from the football team Monday after Hill's arrest this weekend in connection with a bar fight.
Hill was arrested by Baton Rouge Police Saturday after a fight at Reggie's Bar on Bob Pettit Drive. Police say Hill and another man was caught on video punching a 20-year-old man in the head.
Hill was booked on charges of Simple Battery, and posted a $500 bail.
Coach Les Miles announced the decision this afternoon. He said he'd let the incident play out in the legal system before making any additional comments.
