Heart Healthy Smoothie
½ cup fresh strawberries
½ cup fresh blueberries
½ banana1 cup plain low fat Greek yogurt 1 tbsp raw almonds or almond butter (no salt or other seasonings)
2 tbsp raw oatsIce & Water, to taste
1. Place all ingredients into a blender
2. Blend until desired consistency adding water and/or additional ice to get desired results.

Greek yogurt: High protein yogurt which improves digestive health and may provide an increase in metabolism and help control your appetite.
Almonds: High in healthy monounsaturated fats, which have been shown to improve cardiovascular health.
Oats: have been shown to decrease cholesterol and control insulin levels.
