Baby boomers are living longer, but not better because they're not as healthy as their parents were.
Those born between 1945 and 1964 are more likely to be obese, have high blood pressure and cholesterol when compared to their parents.
They're also more likely to drink, and less likely to exercise.
Diet soda may help you stay slim, but not sober.
Researchers found that adding diet drinks to alcohol produced a higher breath-alcohol level than mixing alcohol with sugar-sweetened drinks.
They say it's because sugar reduces the absorption of alcohol in the body.
A mom in North Carolina wanted to give her kids a healthy alternative to the sugary snacks in vending machines.
So she came up with Human Healthy Vending, selling only unprocessed snacks like cashews and dates.
She says it helps her feel good about what her kids munch on at school, and helps fight the growing childhood obesity problem.
