Greater Baton Rouge Easter Cat Show
GONZALES- The Greater Baton Rouge Cat Club will hold its 42nd annual Cat Show at their Easter Eggstravaganza this weekend.
The president of the club, Larry Johnson, brought his Main Coon cat, Pumpkin, by 2une In this morning to tell us more about the event.
"We have six different judges that come from different parts of the country," Johnson told News 2's John Pastorek. "they will be judging all of the cats all day long."
People are welcome to bring their cats even if they don't plan on entering them in the competition, but they must be registered before hand.
The event will also have three different rescue groups that people can talk to if they want to find out more about adopting a cat.
The Greater Baton Rouge Easter Eggstravaganza will be held this Saturday, the 28th from 9:30 a.m. To 6 p.m. At the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales.
