Geaux Blue 4 Kids
BATON ROUGE- Louisiana ranks 47th overall in child well-being. This month we're having a conversation about how to make that ranking better. This morning some members of the Geaux Blue 4 Kids awareness campaign stopped by 2une In to tell us about what moves they're making during the month of April.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month in Louisiana. The Geaux Blue 4 Kids Initiative focuses on the idea that everyone has a role to play in creating better outcomes for children.
The goal is to inspire people to get involved and learn more about the issue.
The 2nd annual Louisiana Child Well-Being Summit will be held this April 29th and 30th at the Cook Hotel and Conference Center at LSU. The event serves as a meeting for child and family-serving organization. Its purpose is to bring people together and teach them about existing services for children who have experienced trauma.
