Gas station problem could lead to costly repairs
DUTCHTOWN - Many drivers say they had diesel in their gas-burning cars after filling up over the weekend at a Dutchtown gas station.
Drivers told News 2 today about problems at the RaceTrac on Highway 73. Service technicians at LeBlanc Nissan say at least four customers have brought vehicles in connected to the problem. Service Manager Nate Gaudin says repairs of this nature routinely cost more than $1,000 dollars.
People working at RaceTrac's corporate headquarters did not return several phone calls. One employee did say the problem has been corrected.
One car owner says she was also given a claim number by RaceTrac after filing a complaint.
