Fund raising campaign for child of murder victim
BATON ROUGE - The father of 2-year-old A'Kyleana Latham set up a gofundme account to try to help pay for her future. He set a goal of $5,000.
Investigators say 24-year-old Taylor Letham, the girl's mother, was gunned down while inside her car in her drive way on Louisiana Avenue on May 2nd. Her body wasn't discovered for two days.
Police say A'Kyleana was kidnapped by Curtis King, 24, and Daaria Thomas, 22. They were questioned all day Wednesday by police. Officials say King took the girl from her home and brought her to the apartment he shares with Thomas.
The shooting death is still under investigation.
