UPDATE: Isaiah Marshall turned himself into authorities Monday.

Sources told WBRZ Marshall was charged with one count of residential contractor fraud.

BATON ROUGE- Former CATS Director Isaiah Marshall is expected to turn himself into authorities, after learning of a warrant for his arrest.

Marshall is accused of taking $82,964 from a homeowner to perform work on her flood-damaged home. The warrant shows that Marshall did some of the work, but left the residence in July 2017 and has not been back since.

Through a investigation, it was learned that the contractor license that was presented to the homeowner did not belong to Marshall, but a person he used to work for in New Orleans. Reports say that Marshall does not have a commercial or residential contractor license.

However, Marshall's attorney says the entire situation is a big misunderstanding and he was doing the work for his uncle as an authorized agent.
