Food truck owner caught dumping trash
BATON ROUGE - The owner of DG's Cafe, a Baton Rouge food truck, was caught on camera dumping trash according to city officials.
The people doing it were caught in the middle of the day dumping their trash under a "no dumping" sign on Kinkaid Ave, off Choctaw Dr.
Business owners and residents along the street are tired of the eyesore, and people abusing the property on their street.
"Somebody comes along, and it looks like a dump, so they say, oh, OK, let's dump it right there," said business owner Chris Medine. "It really makes me mad that they do that."
The owner of DG's Cafe was issued a citation from Department of Public Works and says he'll clean it up. He told News Two he didn't know it was illegal to dump, since others dump there.
DPW says if he does not clean up the mess, he faces a fine from the city.
