Finding therapy options on your own
BATON ROUGE - Longtime social worker Dr. Ray Swan appeared on News 2 at 4 today to talk about his new book, "Explore Your Options: A Personal Guide to Self-Help Psychotherapy."
The book explores what goes on behind a therapist's closed doors, and provides several techniques for people to use on their own to help deal with the stresses they encounter every day.
Dr. Swan was born and raised in New Orleans, where he graduated from Tulane University. He later received his doctorate in social work from the University of Southern California, and taught for 26 years at the Tulane University School of Social Work.
