BATON ROUGE - You can meet your favorite author and find your next book at this year's Louisiana Book Festival.
Rebecca Hamilton from the State Library joined Kylie Dixon on 2une In this morning to tell you what to expect this weekend. This is the 11th year of the event and Hamilton says it's going to as exciting as ever.
"People can expect 200+ authors, so surely your favorite author will be there," she said. "Plus food, good music, things for kids and more."
The festival is being held in memory of George Rodrigue this year.
"You can expect to see a sea of blue Saturday," Hamilton went on to say. "We'll have blue t-shirts and blue bookbags and the children will create blue dog masks."
The 2014 Louisiana Book Festival is Saturday from 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. in downtown Baton Rouge. For more information, watch the interview or visit the festival website.
