FEMA Mitigation Centers open in south Louisiana
BATON ROUGE- You can get free help from FEMA for the next two weeks for help with any rebuilding plans due to Hurricane Isaac.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has set up three hazard mitigation stations across South Louisiana. There, advisors will answer questions for things like roof repair, rebuilding flooded homes and flood insurance.
Nov. 29 is the deadline to register for FEMA assistance related to Hurricane Isaac. The mitigation stations are open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
The East Baton Rouge Parish location is inside the Lowe's on Millerville Road.
