Fans pile onto campus for highly anticipated LSU-Alabama game

BATON ROUGE - Tailgaters pulled onto campus for most of Friday, unpacking and setting up for the start of the highly anticipated weekend, though ominous weather hangs in the balance.
The tune of turning generators is a notable noise for tiger tailgaters, on what's sure to be the biggest weekend of the season so far. RV lots were packed Friday evening, with thousands ready for a fantastic weekend.
"It never rains in Tiger Stadiun," one fan said, "but when it does, oh well!"
Small showers around Death Valley had some fans worried for the Saturday conditions, enough to switch talk from food and football to weather.
"I looked at the radar, and nothing," one hopeful fan acknowledged.
Saturday's forecast calls for clear skies and cooler temperatures; a perfect Saturday for the showdown of the season.
