BATON ROUGE - Elbert Robinson stands in rarefied air as a 7 foot center for the LSU men's basketball team, but no matter what expectations might come Robinson's way, the Tigers freshman says he expects even more of himself.
Robinson was a target of Johnny Jones since Jones was coaching at North Texas and Robinson was a tall, lean freshman in Garland, Texas.
Now Robinson steps onto LSU's campus and joins a frontcourt that includes shot-blocker Jordan Mickey and versatile inside-out player Jarrell Martin and if the consensus top 60 recruit can live up to the billing, the Tigers may have the best front line in the SEC next year.
